Enjoy the flashes of colour, the brilliant costume creativity and music from our procession as it moves down Lower Marsh (Baylis Road) with a fantastic finale on Waterloo Millennium Green at 2.30pm.

Get involved:

Workshops

Join us as we get carnival ready with flair with the following opportunities to get stuck in at our FREE workshops:

  • Costume making. Fridays 28 June & 5 July, 10am – 12noon, Oasis Playspace
    A chance for parents and their little ones (0-5s) to make their costumes

  • Props and headdress craft. Thursday 27 June, 5 - 8pm, Lower Marsh
    We’ll be at the launch of Waterloo Food Fortnight, where you can enjoy some carnival crafting.

  • Perform. Friday 5 July, Vida Walsh Centre
    Come and meet the Mandinga Arts team, find a costume, get creative and learn some moves to perform in the Carnival!
